Professor of Religious Studies and Theology @University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford

Father Cheah's research specialty is in race and religion, and he has written books, book chapters, and articles on this topic, as well as in World Christianity. He was one of the people who reviewed the survey reported by the team of social scientists that eventually adopted by the bishops in their pastoral response for Asian Pacific Island Catholics. He was also on the Process Implementation Committee for the development of the National Asian Pacific Island Pastoral Plan. Father Cheah also serves on the Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry Board of Directors.
