NDI Assistive Technology (AT) Loan Spotlight Webinar: The Art of Empowering Families Through Mediation & Coaching

We all have times in our lives when we find our family members are not on the same page. Sometimes this goes on for years, until we find ourselves in a point of time where important decisions need to be made. Life’s stages bring people to critical topics such as life-planning, supportive decision making, employment, money management, accommodations, medical care, caregiving and end of life decisions. Many families are finding mediation and coaching services help in the process of starting important dialogue to ensure successful life planning while preserving the family.

Join us to learn more about mediation and coaching as Mary Berk, a clinical social worker, shares her expertise providing services to families facing the challenges of chronic illness, aging, and caregiving. Mary works at the Family Mediation & Conflict Coaching Program at Lifespan.

National Disability Institute’s Assistive Technology Loan Program provides referrals for grants and funding to cover the cost of home accessibility and more. Affordable loans are available for residents of New Jersey and New York with fixed interest rates from 4% to 6%. Lending terms are favorable, helping loan recipients develop or improve their credit and save money.
