History of Fashion in Film 1920s-1980s: OPPOSITES ATTRACT
If you love style in the movies, film and fashion historian Kimberly Truhler invites you to a 7-part online series to learn all about The Style Essentials and the HISTORY OF FASHION IN FILM. The Style Essentials are films with iconic costume design from the 1920s to the 1980s that immediately impacted fashion and continue to influence fashion today.

There will be one webinar per decade from the 1920s to the 1980s.

The fourth event OPPOSITES ATTRACT focuses on the style icons from the 1950s - Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, and Doris Day.

Each presentation will include stills from the movies along with images from today's fashion accompanied by a conversation about the history, costume and fashion designers, and backstories of the stars.
