Dr Louise O'Toole is a consultant medical ophthalmologist currently practicing in the Mater Private Network Dublin, Bon Secours Dublin and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Dublin. She has managed the retinal care of diabetic patients from the three Dublin Maternity Hospitals for over a decade. Dr O'Toole completed her ophthalmic training in Dublin before taking up fellowship posts in both medical retina and neuro ophthalmology in London. Dr O'Toole continues to lecture at City University London and is an active contributor to the Lifeline Express Charity programme which promotes diabetic retinopathy screening in China.
