Rebecca Winkel
@American Petroleum Institute
As a member of the American Petroleum Institute’s Regulatory and Economic Policy group, Rebecca works to ensure that API’s research is defensible and of the highest quality. Rebecca is the policy lead on workforce and education issues for API and is responsible for directing all research and many of the programs and partnerships related to workforce development and STEM education, with a special focus on promoting the industry’s work with strategic allies. This includes topics such as employment, educational attainment, building trades and labor unions, supplier diversity, and workforce development issues for communities of color, women, veterans, and millennials. Rebecca works closely with teams across API on grassroots outreach and advocacy in these communities. She also works on a variety of other issues at API, including GHG emissions and carbon abatement potential, sustainability, LNG and crude exports, offshore impacts, well activity counts, and county development.
Tycely Willams
Chief Development Officer @America's Promise Alliance
Tycely Williams has inspired individuals and institutions to invest more than $100 million dollars in charitable causes. As Chief Development Officer for America’s Promise Alliance, she leads contributed and earned income strategies for the largest alliance of youth-serving organizations in the United States. Over the past 24 years, Tycely advanced philanthropy in executive leadership positions at YWCA USA, American Red Cross, and the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington. In her spare time, she chairs the Board of Trustees for Monument Academy Public Charter School, a week-day boarding school for children who have or might have exposure to foster care. She is the current chair of The Nonprofit Alliance Foundation and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Global Board. A joyful divorcée, Tycely enjoys taste-testing fried green tomatoes and conversing with values-driven leaders in preparation for her first book.
