SMA is a genetic disease that affects the muscles we use every day to breathe, speak, swallow, and walk. At least 1 child is born every week with the condition in Malaysia.
In conjunction with SMA Awareness Month, Persatuan WeCareJourney invites you to join them in celebrating the launch of the first research in Malaysia to document the living realities of SMA patients, their families and caregivers.
The findings and recommendations from this report should be implemented to improve the quality of life for the SMA community.
This event is hosted by the Galen Centre of Health and Social Policy.
Whether you are a parent, health professional, student, or just curious about SMA, join our interactive session and share this with your friends and family.
All are welcome.
