Global plastic production is estimated to surpass 1000 million tones by 2050, and studies show that plastics in the sea could outweigh fish. So how do we stop plastics from choking our ecosystems? Most countries, including India, have guidelines for managing plastic pollution and have banned single-use plastics. But do these measures suffice?
