Field Quality Control measures for TYFO® Composites in Pipe Rehabilitation

Fyfe’s Tyfo® FRP system has repaired and rehabilitated piping infrastructure across various industries for over 25-years.

In addition to qualification of materials through extensive testing and development of engineered design solutions, Fyfe implemented a certified applicator training program to insure the FRP is installed per AWWA C305 code, manufacturer’s requirements, and meets design & performance requirements.

This TEC Talk will review the field quality control and inspection measures and skills that both the applicators and inspectors must be performed to provide quality assurance to both the FRP manufacturer and the asset owner.
