Traders Hill Farm Virtual Farm Tour
Join us LIVE for our virtual farm field trip to Traders Hill Farm in Hilliard, FL. Traders Hill Farm is the largest environmentally-safe aquaponics production facility in the Southeastern United States. This farm raises tilapia fish that create the nutrients needed to grow lettuce hydroponically. Traders Hill Farm sells microgreens and a variety of lettuces in grocery stores, restaurants and resorts throughout Northeast Florida, Central Florida, and Southern Georgia. They also sell produce to local school districts.

The tour will begin in the fish production facility, where students will learn what it takes to grow happy, healthy fish. We will then move to the seed starting facility, and finally work our way to the greenhouses where more than 5,000 heads of lettuce are grown in floating hydroponic beds.
