Parts-Work Practice Group

This will be a webinar format where 1-2 people get to practice being a therapist using IFS, Gestalt, and Transpersonal interventions.

Group members will volunteer to be a therapist and clients (upon registration) and be selected before we meet. If volunteering to be a therapist, please have experience with some part-work model(s) (IFS, Gestalt, ACT, Voice-dialogue, Psychosynthesis, etc.). During the demo, the practice therapist can stop at any point to ask questions and receive support and guidance. Also, Uri will gently pause the session and offer suggestions starting approximately 10-15 minutes into the practice session. Suggestions will be entirely optional as far as what the practice therapist decides to experiment with.

After the practice session, we'll engage in a Q&A session to discuss what we just saw. Sessions will be recorded and available for later review (as well as available for other future training resources at the Healed Healer Institute).

These will run every eight weeks on Mondays at 8:30 am for 2 hours. The next one will be on April 3rd, 2023. The cost for attendance is $50.

This will be facilitated by Uri Talmor, who has been using IFS since he first trained in 2003, he is a Naropa Transpersonal Counseling (now called Mindfulness-based Transpersonal) graduate from 2004, and he has taught in that department since 2013.
