RIDE: Neuroscience of Stress & the Reciprocity of Self-Care

Description: In this 60-minute, interactive RIDE-sponsored session, Student Support Personnel will learn about the neuroscience of stress and the critical healing factors. Participants will engage in strategies to support the reciprocity of well-being, having an awareness of stressors and the effect on the body and nervous system. They will understand the neuroscience behind why simple breathe, move, and rest strategies are effective tools for stress management and self-regulation to build resilience.
