Community Health Navigator (CHN) Training is being made available one-time, early November 2020 through January 2021, by the Iowa Chronic Care Consortium through a grant from the Iowa Workforce Development Coronavirus Relief Fund. CHN Training will build the skills and capacity of participants in ministering to and supporting the health status of individuals and families in their communities, and to make them more marketable. It is designed for interpreters, care coordinators, community health, community support and other frontline workers, especially those who have been impacted by COVID-19 pandemic.
This Orientation Webinar will describe the purpose of the CHN Training, participant requirements and selection, participant cost and application, training elements and schedule and training faculty. This 45-minute webinar (Wednesday, October 21st at 12:00 – 12:45 PM) will be hosted by the Iowa Chronic Care Consortium and hosted by Deb Kazmerzak.
