The Rev. Dr. Emilie Townes
Pastor Emily M. D. Scott

And musicians:
Dr. Sandra T. Montes

Seven acclaimed writers, theologians, and singers come together to celebrate the launch of Emily M. D. Scott debut memoir, "For All Who Hunger."

Through poetry and music, humor and scholarship, each will share a reflection on the theme of "hunger," a driving theme of Scott's work.

Hear a reading from "For All Who Hunger," stories and reflections from the life of her unlikely congregation, St. Lydia's Dinner Church in Brooklyn. Throughout her work, she articulates the value of church as a place where people can hear not only that they are loved but that they are good.

In addition to music and readings, the evening will include dialog among the presenters, questions from you, the participants, and even a song to carry home with you.

For All Who Hunger is a story about a God whose love has no limits and a faith that opens our eyes to the truth. There’s a place for you at the table.
