Jimm Johnson
Data Governance Program Manager @Scripps Health
With more than 25 years of experience in various areas of IT spanning multiple industries, Jimm Johnson is the Data Governance Program Manager at Scripps Health, one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in San Diego, CA. Jimm launched the framework for an enterprise data governance program with the company’s multi-year Epic electronic health record (EHR) and revenue cycle platform implementation, and is now operationalizing DG across the organization using a "data asset management" model in partnership with the company’s EDW/BI teams to engage owners & stewards with the responsibilities & accountabilities of their official DG roles. Jimm completed Collibra’s Chief Data Officer (CDO) Summer School (2019) and holds undergraduate degrees in business administration, finance, Spanish language & literature, and psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology. He serves as VP of Professional Development for the DGPO.
