Panel: Cannabis Moves Mainstream
Cannabis, Pot, Weed, Hemp, Bud... whatever we call it, this plant is becoming legal across the country. What now? We will explore three different topics regarding cannabis - social equity, your brain, and growing your own. First, and most importantly, how do we create an equitable market that ensures that people can transition from the legacy to legal markets and that communities most harmed by the racist war on drugs can prosper? Second, cannabis has been found to be beneficial for your body but is it ever good for your brain? Third, how hard is it to grow your own? And why is home grow important for medical cannabis users in particular? We’ll give you some practical tips for starting your home grow.

The panel is sponsored by Terrace Club and will feature Dasheeda Dawson ʼ00 and Lyon Henry, and be moderated by Abigail Kalmbach ʼ00.
