The aim of this event is to launch the “Innovating during a crisis” survey reports. The reports investigate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the ability of universities and firms to continue to collaborate and drive innovation through the crisis. They also explore what further government action could be taken to ensure universities are able to play an active role in driving the economic recovery. The reports present the findings from surveys undertaken in Autumn 2020 by the new University Commercialisation and Innovation Policy Evidence Unit at the University of Cambridge and NCUB of universities and firms, developed as part of the request from UKRI for NCUB to establish and deliver the R&D Collaboration Taskforce.
The “Innovating during a crisis” launch event will take place on 4 February from 10:00-11:00am. It will take the form of an online webinar and question and answer session on Zoom hosted by NCUB.
