We are pleased to announce the second installment of our RLN Summer Seminar Series on Thursday, July 22 at 10 a.m. focusing on Commercial to Residential Conversions!
In the last year, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, many commercial properties, including hotels and offices, shuttered or remain vacant while housing insecurity intensified. Converting some of the vacant commercial spaces into housing could help address the city's long-standing housing crisis. This year the state budget allocated $100 million to convert commercial spaces into affordable housing and last month the state legislature created the program.
Join us as we speak with the experts to discuss the possible opportunities and challenges of converting hotels and offices into residential housing.
