Racism & Resistance in Rochester and the Anti-Racist Curriculum Project
Have you heard of the term "redlining" and not known what it meant? Have you wondered about the civil rights movement in the 1960's and if it affected Rochester? Join us as we welcome Shane Wiegand, a 4th grade teacher in the Rush Henrietta School District, who will share information about the history of Racist Policy and Resistance in Rochester. Mr. Wiegand is the co-leader of the Pathstone Foundation's Anti-Racist Curriculum Project and trains teachers in the greater Rochester area in anti-racist curriculum. Mr. Wiegand will also discuss the development and implementation of the Anti-Racist Curriculum Project around the region.

Free to RRLC & ESLN Members. This webinar will be held on Zoom Webinar; registration is required.

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for one hour and 30 minutes. Please note that this webinar will be recorded. The recording will be made available by April 5th.
