She has worked with a range of organizations including start-ups, theatres, associations, universities, and health care delivery. She is the founder and principal of Marlando – Elevating Brand Performance. She started her career as a fundraiser in the arts and academia. Most recently, she led AMCP and AMCP Foundation’s award-winning brand transformation. Forever grounded by her theatre training, she approaches her work with a disciplined creativity. Mara is a proud Butler University alumna graduating with high honors for both her B.S. in Arts Administration and her MBA in marketing. In her spare time, she is an Odyssey of the Mind coach, soccer mom, traveler, and co-owner of Yard Card Queen(s) – Alexandria.

Nicole is an AFG member and association professional with over twenty-five years of experience supporting high-level executives, managing and coordinating the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, Development Committees, and other councils.
