Stephanie Woo, OD, FAAO, FSLS

Dr. Stephanie L. Woo was born and raised in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Biology Science Education. She graduated with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry. She completed a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where she was trained to fit highly irregular corneas. She was the recipient of the Gas Permeable Lens Institute Award for Clinical Excellence and also the John R. Griffin Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy. Dr. Woo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Society. She authored the Gas Permeable Lens Expert column in Review of Contact Lenses. She is a frequent author to publications such as Contact Lens Spectrum, Contact Lens and Cornea section of the American Optometric Association, Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses, and Review of Optometric Business. She is an active GPLI advisory board member.
Raj Patel, OD, FAAO
Co-owner @Vancouver Vision Clinic
Dr. Patel grew up in Texas and studied at the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1996, he graduated as a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Patel completed a residency in Hospital-Based and Geriatric Eyecare at the Portland VA Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Patel served as a clinical instructor to interns from two colleges of optometry. Patients appreciate his relaxed, comfortable manner, and enjoy his enthusiasm in teaching. Dr. Patel has provided hours of clinical procedures workshops for the Oregon and Alberta, Canada Optometric Associations. He has volunteered his skills in Thailand and the Special Olympics program in Oregon. Dr. Patel also served as a clinical examiner for the National Boards of Optometry, as a consultant to the Portland VA Medical Center, and is currently Adjunct Faculty at Pacific University College of Optometry.
