In the world of COVID–19 almost all of the education discussions seem to have focussed on systems, structures and schooling. But what about the children?
Professor Carla Rinaldi is President of the Reggio Children – Loris Malaguzzi Centre Foundation and one of the world’s leading authorities on what has been called the best schools in the world: the municipal preschools of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Her lifetime of work with Reggio’s children should, in my view, inform all progressive school improvement efforts, as well as what has become known as the ‘maker movement’ in schools. Recipient of the 2015 LEGO Prize and University of Adelaide ‘Thinker in Residence’, Professor Carla Rinaldi is a world leader in education for children in the early years and beyond.
Carla Rinaldi will be re–imagining childhood with us and will engage with your questions and thoughts.
In addition, we will also be joined by eminent Eric Abrams and Crispin Evans, who will help us make more sense of Re–imagining childhood in #TheNewNormal.
