Gait Analysis of NPH - HANDS Webinar (3 of 7)

The 2022 Hydrocephalus Association Network for Discovery Science (HANDS) Webinar Series will be on improving ways of diagnosing and screening for hydrocephalus to allow for earlier detection of the condition. In this webinar, Dr. Mats Tullberg will give an overview of current diagnostic methods and their limitations and describe the typical clinical syndrome of NPH with a focus on gait and balance and how careful evaluation of these symptoms and signs can assist in the diagnostic work-up of NPH. He will then present his research using a new method for 3D gait analysis to improve diagnostics in NPH and discuss important and interesting pitfalls.
