GB Post Brexit trade update & update on Dublin Port trade Flows

This briefing will bring members UpToDate on the regulatory requirements for the export of goods and Agri-food products from Ireland to Britain and clarify the current situation regarding UK regulatory deferments (no new requirements until the end of 2023) https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-approach-to-import-controls-to-help-ease-cost-of-living

Marie Farrell - Manager Customs and International Trade services BDO, will make a presentation covering this topic to include information on importing food and agri into Ireland – CHED Traces, DAFM INIS Portal, HSE pre- notification requirements, Electronic connection between MS Customs Clearance Systems (AIS) and TRACES via an EU database called CERTEX. Marie will also look at Exports to UK – current position & what to expect in the UK, what the Target Operating Model in Autumn 2022 lookslike and finally look at Digitised certs and anticipate full controls by end of 2023.

Post Brexit there has been significant change at Dublin Port and we are delighted that Chief executive Eamonn O’Reilly will be with us to give us an update on the Trade Statistics and highlight their plans to improve import and export efficiencies in and around the port over the coming years.
