Mindset & Body Awareness: Principles to Facilitate a Process of Discovery During Practice
This webinar will focus on maximising the effectiveness of practice through a process of discovery. Cellist and educator Lachlan Dent will provide insights into the process of discovering your own technique. This approach is useful for string players of all levels and covers areas such as breathing, tension release, habit changing, and learning in relation to brain function. Some practice techniques specific to string playing will also be discussed. This will give you material that you can use immediately in your playing and teaching, as well as conceptual foundations that you will be able to continue to develop over a longer period of time.
