Join us as we investigate the intersections of Tarot, gender, and Shakespeare's canon. Theatre-maker Will Wilhelm (they/them) leads a bite-sized interactive live-streamed Zoom session that will entertain, inspire, and enlighten! This time, we're excited to welcome our artistic crush, Jéhan Òsanyìn (they/them).

Will Wilhelm (they/them)
Host
Will Wilhelm (they/them) is a trans/non-binary actor, writer, and educator based in Chicago. As a member of the resident acting company at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, they reimagined genderqueer characters in As You Like It, Macbeth, and Bill Rauch's Oklahoma! Other professional highlights include Straight White Men (Steppenwolf Theatre), written and directed by Young Jean Lee, and RENT (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre) for which Will's performance as Angel received a BroadwayWorld Chicago Award. They have also had the pleasure of working with Victory Gardens, Northlight Theatre, Teatro Vista, About Face Theatre, American Theater Company, Chicago Children's Theatre, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. Will is a proud graduate of Northwestern University and is represented by Gray Talent Group. With Erin Murray, they are the co-creator of Teacakes & Tarot and their debut solo show: Gender Play.
Jéhan Òsanyìn (they/them)

Jéhan Òsanyìn (they/them) is a multilingual and biliterate somatic abolitionist and futurist facilitator who is also AEA actor and Gregory Award nominated playwright living in Seattle, WA. They hold a BA in Theatre Arts from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. Many years ago they had the pleasure of studying theatre in twelve countries with Semester at Sea. In 2017 Jéhan founded Earthseed, an experimental experiential art studio where studio research and performance explores the stories our bodies tell with and without our consent. Earthseed offers individual coaching, workshops, and lots of opportunities to investigate your racialized identity development through experiential education. For 3 months at the end of 2019 Jéhan was an Artist-in-Residence at Aktuelle Architektur der Kultur | Centro Negra, Spain. They deepened their research on using theatre and cultural somatics to disrupt intergenerational trauma.
