Barry Shibuya (Dr. @TeleMed2U)
Dr. Barry Shibuya is a board certified rheumatologist in practice since 2002.  Dr Shibuya graduated from the
University of Hawaii, John A Burns School of Medicine in 1996, and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Hawaii Integrated Medical Residency Program in 1999. He also served as Chief Medical Resident at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu, HI in 2000. 

Dr. Shibuya has a been a long time supporter of the Lupus Foundation of Northern California, presenting at our Lupus Health Conferences over many years. He is also a recipient of the 2019 Purple Ribbon Award for Outstanding Commitment to Research and Treatment.  Dr. Shibuya lives in Hawaii and now works with TeleMed2U to support their mission to increase access to healthcare for patients everywhere.
