Founder of the protest group Transexual Menace and the national advocacy organization GenderPAC, Wilchens' work has been profiled by the New York Times and TIME Magazine has selected her one of 100 Civic Innovators for the 21st Century.
She speaks regularly with college groups and local events, as well as with a wide variety of organizations, from the NEA, NOW, and the Human Rights Campaign to JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, and IBM.
