Travel Your Way - A new way of sustainable tourism accommodations with more transparency
Nowadays, more than ever, travelers want to be able to choose more sustainable tourism and travel services, however finding easily accessible information on the environmental impact of their accommodation options can sometimes be challenging to navigate. But why is that?

For both the European Union and the tourism sector, increasing sustainability and digitisation is seen as an essential goal. However, developing more sustainable modes of tourism to reduce the sector’s environmental footprint will be particularly challenging in the aftermath of COVID-19. As outlined in the October 2020 European Tourism Convention, hosted by Commissioner Breton, the recovery of Europe’s tourism sector should be centred around smart and sustainable growth, with online travel platforms playing a key role in ensuring the transition to a greener travel and tourism industry.

To discuss the challenges and opportunities of providing more sustainable options for tourists, with a focus on the area of accommodation, eu travel tech invites you to its webinar taking place on

25 May at 10.00 – 11.30 CEST

This webinar will look at possible solutions to questions such as: What impact has COVID-19 had on Europe’s tourism sustainability agenda? What steps can stakeholders take to make the industry greener and more resilient? What role can online travel platforms play in supporting informed consumer choices?
