Going Digital in Roads
Digital twins for road infrastructure are created through the introduction of digital context and the dimension of time to static 3D BIM models. They enable visualisation, tracking change and performing analysis to optimise road infrastructure asset performance across the entire asset lifecycle.

Digital twins are enabled by applications which facilitate design integration and interoperability across multiple disciplines. This enhances collaboration between road designers and engineers from other disciplines, removes unnecessary rework by reducing and preventing errors and clashes early on, and improves communication with internal and external stakeholders. Engineering models are then integrated with reality models and GIS data which are continuously updated with operational data from IOT sensors and meters to create a digital twin.

Join us and discover how leveraging digital twins helps the road infrastructure sector to cut costs, reduce risk, and improve the efficiency for the entire lifecycle of the asset.

This webinar will cover:
• Key challenges and trends in the road infrastructure industry
• Strategies for integrated, multi-disciplinary approaches to planning,
design and analysis of road infrastructure
• Practical benefits of digital twins and the enabling applications for
the road infrastructure industry
