Working with difficult mental states like anger, craving, and jealousy is an important part of the Buddhist path. But the Buddha also taught the cultivation of positive and wholesome states of mind, which he referred to as the “factors of awakening.”
Join us for Understanding the Factors of Awakening, a free live virtual workshop with Bodhi College and Insight Meditation teachers Christina Feldman and Jaya Rudgard. In this special hour-long event, Feldman and Rudgard will offer an introduction to the bojjhanga (“awakening factors”) teachings of the early Buddhist canon, and will lead a guided meditation to support you in cultivating positive qualities such as mindfulness, equanimity, joy, and tranquility.
This workshop is a preview for Tricycle and Bodhi College’s new eight-week online course, The Seven Factors of Awakening, starting on September 13. Sign up for the course at https://learn.tricycle.org/p/the-seven-factors-of-awakening.
