Beginning with a short video of a 10 year case study, participants will see how effective this work is when put into action.
Clay (Play dough) based lessons are at the heart of the work and participants will understand why this simple process can teach abstract concepts to concrete learners.
This webinar works best if you are able to create along with the instructor. You will need two containers of play dough. You’ll use the play dough as a tool in teaching a child/victim how to communicate a situation that has occurred in the past, and help them discover new options for the future. And, you’ll hear story ideas for creatively adapting principles to use with special needs children/victims that are simple and easy, and provide an alternative to talking.
