Join the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) for its virtual briefing session on Education and Equity in a Post-COVID-19 Society. The briefing will consist of two sessions: the first part focused on PreK-12 education, and the second on postsecondary education.
The second part on postsecondary education will feature leaders from the public, private, and non-profit sectors who will discuss what community leaders can do to help advance and support success for Latino students in higher education as they navigate safety amidst a pandemic disproportionately impacting them, while trying to build their skillsets and consider their future prospects. The panelists will address a range of issues such as: the future of postsecondary education for Latinos and its impact on the workforce; college affordability; and other needs of Latino students and families in a time filled with uncertainty and financial volatility.
