TI Series – From Zero to Hero: Session 3. Law enforcement on Threat Intell

Our next TI Series Webinar will be held on the 27th January at 12:30pm. We will have Inspector Brian Halligan from the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau discussing “Law enforcement & Threat Intelligence”.

The Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau (GNCCB) are responsible for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of cybercrime incidents in the State. The GNCCB responds to the cybercrime threat through close collaboration with local and national Garda Units and liaises with Europol, Interpol, international law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity professionals to reduce the threat and impact of cybercrime on individuals and organisations.

Inspector Brian Halligan, Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau. 21 years’ service as a member of An Garda Síochána. Appointed to the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau in November 2019. Inspector with responsibility for operational management in the Bureau including Cybercrime Investigations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cyber Security, International  Liaison, Cyber Safety and Computer Forensics.
