The Head Chef at Grow HQ, home of the social enterprise GIY in Waterford. With his love for fresh, local, seasonal products, he has made the zero waste cafe the nerve centre of a whole new sustainable way of cooking.

Chad Byrne (Head Chef @The Brehon hotel and The Hungry Donkey)
Chad Byrne is the Head Chef of the renowned Brehon Hotel, Killarney. He has been at the helm for 8 years ,leading a well established, confident team of chefs. He is now one of Ireland&#39;s most celebrated chefs who&#39;s mantra in the kitchen is food, focus and fun.  He believes if you don&#39;t enjoy your work your potential won&#39;t be fulfilled.
He is widely recognised  for pushing boundaries in vegan food although not a vegan himself. In his work with Chef Collab, Chad brings Ireland&#39;s best chefs together to mentor the next generation of young Irish chefs through team building cooking competitions, then brings it to the next level, with a ‘throw out the rule book’ style pop-ups.
