Christian joined Jones Lang LaSalle in October 1998 as a graduate and has gained experience in a wide range of valuation areas. In October 2000 Christian joined Valuation Advisory and specialised in shopping centre valuations and transactional support in both the UK and also across Europe where he successfully established the Pan-EMEA retail valuation business since 2008. Christian leads the Pan-EMEA Valuation business and is responsible for a number of key valuation client mandates, developing and leading best practice across the EMEA Valuation business. Christian is directly responsible for developing expertise and best practice in shopping centre valuations and leads the EMEA Retail Valuation Group. Christian is a member of the IVSC European Board.
Nadja De Jager
Head of Oversight Real Estate and Private Markets @Aberdeen Standard Investments
Based in London, Nadja De Jager is the Head of Private Markets Investment Oversight at Aberdeen Standard Investments overseeing ca. £67bn of AUM. Supporting the CIO, Nadja generates investment insights (with focus on performance and risk), ensuring an effective portfolio and process oversight and driving improvements of investment capability. Previous to this Nadja was the Chief Investment Risk Officer within the CBRE Global Investment Partners (GIP), responsible for investment risk oversight of the Global Investment Partners portfolios (ca. £20bn - £25bn of AUM). At CBRE Global Investors Nadja held roles within the Global Investment Research and Strategy division, with responsibility to guide real estate managers to strategic and tactical real estate allocation across geographies. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, she worked for a research consultancy PMA (Property Market Analysis) as a European research analyst.
Mark Bourgeois
MD UK & Ireland @Hammerson
Mark began his career at KPMG; he then qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with Donaldsons, where he became partner in charge of the London Shopping Centre Management team. Mark moved to Capital & Regional in 1998 where, as Executive Director, he led the management and development of their substantial shopping portfolio. He joined Hammerson in 2017 as Managing Director of UK & Ireland, responsible for the company’s £6.5bn shopping centre and retail parks business.
