The EU CRIMARIO II initiative, launched in April 2020, builds on the experience of CRIMARIO I, and focuses on enabling beneficiary partners to improve maritime governance in the Western Indian Ocean, South Asia and Southeast Asia. The proposed activities are defined according to a threefold approach: (1) enhancing regional engagements; (2) forging partnerships; and (3) developing the IORIS maritime coordination platform.
Now that the inception phase is drawing to a close, the team are organising a series of activities commencing with webinars for decision-makers, maritime experts and managers of maritime centres of the Western Indian Ocean countries.
This particular webinar will introduce the CRIMARIO II project and the IORIS platform to those in the Western Indian Ocean who wish to discover the project and the IORIS maritime coordination and information sharing tool developed. A separate webinar is scheduled for those who already know the project and IORIS, but new comers are welcome to participate in this second webinar as well, but only after having following this introductory webinar.
Delivered in English; this webinar is also delivered in French on Tuesday 6 April at 10:00 CET.
