About this workshop
People called Christians have been practicing, and cancelling, astrology since the very beginnings of the Jesus movement. While the project of “reconciling Christianity and Astrology” into a coherent whole may be a fool’s errand, the discerning seeker can still find common ground between these two ancient ways of engaging with reality. This talk explores the theological categories of logos, kairos, and telos as a node of resonance between the two traditions. We'll also reflect on the implications of a chart from February of 33 CE as a "birth chart" for the Jesus movement—a faith of exile and fall.
