Dr. Mark Palim
Vice President and Deputy Chief Economist @Fannie Mae
Dr. Mark Palim is Fannie Mae’s Vice President and Deputy Chief Economist. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist, Dr. Palim is responsible for overseeing the Economic and Strategic Research Group’s forecasting functions. He also manages multi-disciplinary partnerships across the company to address specific business issues facing Fannie Mae. Dr. Palim is a key spokesperson on economic trends and a frequent speaker at national mortgage finance and housing industry events.
Jacob Williamson
Senior Vice President, Single-Family Collateral Risk Management @Fannie Mae
Jacob (Jake) Williamson is the Senior Vice President for Single-Family Collateral Risk Management. Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Single Family, Williamson is responsible for oversight and management of all end-to-end collateral capabilities, loan quality of the Single-Family book of business, and operational risk for the Single-Family business processes. These duties include front-end collateral policy design, loan quality control activities for both credit and collateral, property valuations and valuation modernization, real estate liquidation options, and Single-Family operational risk oversight. In the real estate space, Williamson is responsible for various foreclosure and REO functions, including short sales, foreclosure sale strategy, eviction/redemption oversight, mortgage release/rental operations, property preservation/inspections, repairs, closing/title, HOA/tax management, REO sales, and REO auctions.
