Exploring Clinical Management Parameters for Children who have Unilateral Hearing Loss
Audiology Webinar: September 30, 2021, 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm ET
Presented by:
Marlene Bagatto, AuD, PhD

Supporting informed, shared decision-making is a critical aspect of managing children who have hearing loss. This can be challenging when the available evidence to support clear management recommendations is under development, as is the case with unilateral hearing loss in children. This presentation will explore the current clinical management parameters for young children who have permanent unilateral hearing loss. A case study will be used to highlight the available clinical procedures and those that require further development. The importance of counseling families of children who have unilateral hearing loss in the context of habilitation will also be discussed.

Sep 30, 2021 12:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
