Measuring performance against vague standards can often be difficult. This is particularly true with respect to complying with Canadian data protection laws, where compliance largely concerns adhering to ambiguous data protection "principles" rather than specific requirements. To help with that, this session is designed to demystify those data protection principles. Attendees will be provided with information regarding some responsibilities relating to each principle as well as practical tips regarding the type of steps they can undertake to start to enhance their compliance.
