LAJFF and fans everywhere are mourning the devastating loss of the beloved, heroic Supreme Court Justice. We must do more than just celebrate her life and work. We MUST carry on her legacy especially at a time when we face so many unprecedented challenges.
Join LAJFF on Thursday, September 24 at 5 pm PDT (8 pm EST) for a virtual discussion with acclaimed filmmaker Julie Cohen, co-director of the inspiring, Academy Award nominated documentary, RBG.” She will share an insider’s view of one of the most influential women in the history of the United States, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and her journey in the making of this film that became a worldwide sensation.
Cohen, a NY Emmy Award-winner has directed eight feature documentaries including “The Sturgeon Queens,” winner of Best Documentary at LAJFF 2014.
If you have not seen the film, it is being re-broadcast on CNN and also available to stream anytime on Hulu, Amazon Prime and other platforms.
