What's your Blindspot? Confronting Unconscious Bias
The purpose of this workshop is to build awareness of the Unconscious (also known as Implicit) Bias that we have formulated due to our lived experiences. Workshop participants will learn about the different types of biases and how they impact work and our personal lives. Participants will learn strategies on how to adjust thought patterns and how to make less bias decisions.

This training is brought to you by Be Free Lake, Inc. (A Community Drug Prevention and Mental Health Awareness Coalition in Lake County, Florida) and facilitated by Ms. Elkin Alfred, who is a national Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training manager. Ms. Alfred possesses over 15 years of experience in the human services and education profession and serves on the diversity committee at Nova Southeastern University. She is also responsible for all Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for Broward County law enforcement and behavioral health professionals.
