I help people who are dealing with symptoms, such as pain or discomfort, or functional difficulties, such as not being able to bend well, turn their head, lift an arm, etc., that are related to the muscles and joints of the body. CAREER STORY I completed a 4-year undergraduate program in health sciences at Western. After a year teaching English in South Korea, I then went to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and completed the 4-year program. Upon graduating, I moved to Waterloo to start practicing. I've worked at various multi-disciplinary clinics throughout the Region of Waterloo since starting my career in 2006 and has a practice in New Hamburg.

I am a registered nurse working in Acute Care Medicine at Grand River Hospital. Nurses are the heart, eyes, and ears of the healthcare system and this entire system would collapse without them. I provide bedside care for a wide variety of diseases/medical conditions (cardio, neuro, renal, ortho, oncology, metabolic, etc.) and use many skills such as wound care, tube feeds, tracheostomies, ECGs, IV insertions, catheters, blood draws, etc., I also update my health care team on my patient’s condition and care plan and advocate for them by having discussions with infection control / pharmacy / dietician / physio / MRP, etc. I also provide updates on their status and determine if it is safe for them to be discharged.

I am a business owner who manages 6 other full-time employees. My company acts as the representative of a natural product brand (vitamin, sport nutrition supplement, natural cosmetic, veterinary pet supplement, natural cleaner, cannabis company). We handle all of the regulatory requirements set in place by Health Canada to get products approved and on. After high school, I did my BA in Biology at Carleton University in Ottawa and after graduating, I went to the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology. I graduated with distinction from the Regulatory Affairs graduate program. I worked as the domestic lead for regulatory at Jamieson vitamins for three an- a-half-years prior to starting my own consulting company.
