Strengthening the Direct Care Workforce in Your State

The United States is facing a dire shortage of direct care workers, who provide essential services to older adults and individuals with disabilities. Although state officials understand the importance of meaningfully supporting the direct care workforce, they often struggle to identify how to tackle the problem in a systematic, effective way. This webinar will explore state levers for change and key areas for action, such as raising wages and collecting and using data to inform interventions, in support of developing comprehensive means of addressing the economic insecurity of the workforce and improving its capacity.
