Briefing: WA Transit Access Map Launch
Front and Centered is launching the Washington Transit Access Map (WA TAM) to provide communities with a tool to advocate for better transit across the state. WA TAM provides data-driven insights into where people experience the greatest environmental health risk factors that can contribute to inequitable health outcomes and unequal access to healthy and prosperous communities. Similarly, WA TAM is an online platform that daylights statewide racial inequities by synthesizing and visualizing data. And like the Environmental Health Disparities Map, WA TAM is a culmination of collective advocacy and community expertise.

As we near the 2023 Legislative Session in January, we're also introducing our new Transportation Justice Agenda for Washington State. Both are helpful tools and guides to move us toward just transportation policies and investments. Our sweeping Transportation Justice Agenda aims to reorient the way Washington invests our transportation dollars and prioritizes safety with clear standards for improving transit and safe sidewalks and crosswalks.
