In the early years of the 20th Century four Scottish artists brought Post-Impressionism to Scotland, painting island landscapes, Edinburgh interiors and fashionable models with the vibrant colours of Matisse and the Fauves.

This talk explores the work of Cadell, Fergusson, Hunter and Peploe and their position in the history of British art.
