College for Creatives Studies (CCS)
The College for Creative Studies (CCS) is a nonprofit, private, fully accredited college of Art and
Design enrolling more than 1,400 students pursuing MFA & MA degrees across 6 programs and
BFA degrees across 18 programs. With world-class faculty and unsurpassed facilities, students
learn to be visual communicators who actively use art and design toward the betterment of
society.
School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC)
SAIC is one of the most historically significant accredited independent schools of art and design
in the USA located in one of the greatest American cities, Chicago. SAIC is recognized by
Columbia University’s National Arts Journalism survey as “the most influential art college in the
United States”. The interdisciplinary curriculum allows students to translate the most complex
ideas into tangible forms—paintings, sculptures, films, performances, books, installations,
inventions, buildings, community projects, and, more often, a combination of the above.

She completed her BA in Jewellery at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, UK and her MFA in Jewellery at Hochschule Trier, Germany. She has lived in 7 countries and hopes to combine her experience in art and travelling to better assist the international students at CCA. www.anniehuang.co.uk Katie Zazenski (International Admission Counselor @Maryland Institute College of Art) Katie Zazenski is a Warsaw-based artist, curator, writer, and lecturer whose practice is centered around interconnectedness and community. Often working collaboratively, her work has been included in exhibitions at public and private institutions including the San Diego Art Institute (CA, USA), the Mercedes Benz Americas Headquarters (MI, USA), the Zachęta National Gallery of Art (PL), and the Contemporary Art Center in Vilnius (LT). Zazenski has co-directed the independent, Warsaw-based art space Stroboskop since January 2018 and more recently, has joined the editorial team at BLOK Magazine (PL), where she focuses on the community of non-institutional spaces in Eastern+Central Europe. She also lectures regularly in sculpture and drawing at institutions in the US and Poland. Zazenski received her MFA in Sculpture from the Cranbrook Academy of Art (MI, USA) and is a two-time Fulbright Fellow to Poland. Anthony Miceli (Director of Graduate and International Admissions @College of Creative Studies) Anthony Miceli grew-up in the metro-Detroit area in Michigan, attended the University of Miami in Florida, started his professional career in higher education in Boston, Massachusetts and returned to Michigan 7 years ago to work at the College for Creative Studies. During his time at CCS, Anthony has traveled the globe from Australia, Canada, China, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea and countless European countries and states within the U.S. Trace Krug (Assistant Director of International Admissions @School of the Art Institute of Chicago) Trace Krug grew up in the Chicagoland area and completed his BFA at SAIC, studying mostly in the Painting and Drawing Department, then spent a few years working and studying in France, completing his Master’s degree in Art History at Université Lumière Lyon II. While in graduate school, Trace wrote a nearly 200 page thesis entitled Wolfgang Tillmans : « politicité », sexualité, mortalité. Une étude d’un artiste-activiste, examining the intersections of the German artist’s political engagements and his artwork. This research allowed him to explore his broad interests and preoccupations in cultural production today: contemporary political theory, gender studies, issues of illness and mortality, economics, the European project, and populism, to name a few. Generally, Trace is interested in how the work of contemporary artists participates in conversations related to the myriad political issues facing the world today, many of them global in scale, and his research is strongly influenced by
