Navigating the Recruitment Process as an Asian-Canadian Law Student - Part 1: Racism and Mental Health
Calling all Asian-Canadian law students! FACL BC understands that going through recruitment processes is always difficult, and with the COVID-19 pandemic presenting new challenges, we want to ease your anxieties and give you the tools to be successful.

The first part of this new series starts with a panel addressing institutional racism in the recruitment and interviewing process, how students can better take care of their mental well-being during recruitment, and opening a dialogue on reimagining a more equitable recruitment process. For those who would like to stay and join the panelists and facilitators for further conversation in small breakout rooms, please register in the link below.

Our featured panelists include:

- Will Tao (Edelmann and Co.)
- Raminder Hayre (Dolden Wallace Folick LLP)
- Alexandra Cocks (Partner, Co-Chair of Student Recruiting at McCarthy Tétrault)

The second part of this series will be held in early 2021 and will focus on skill development, so stay tuned!

This event is complimentary to all current FACL BC members. For those who have not signed up for the free student membership, please sign up here: https://faclbc.ca/join-us
