Francesca Costa
Sr. Program Manager, GetCalFresh @Code for America
Francesca Costa is a Senior Program Manager on Code for America's GetCalFresh team, which works to improve CalFresh service delivery and close the participation gap in California. On the team, she focuses on streamlining reporting processes and improving the service for underrepresented populations. Francesca has worked on food security issues since 2008, first at the Ecology Center, based in Berkeley, and then on the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank's CalFresh Outreach team. She has also served as core staff for the Benchmark Institute's Food Assistance Skills Trainings. In 2017, she was honored as the Grassroots Mobilizer of the Year through the California Food Policy Advocates' "Freshy Awards." She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Geography and American Studies from UC Berkeley.
Caroline Sanchez Crozier
CEO and Owner @CSC Consulting Group
Caroline Sanchez Crozier, CEO and owner of CSC Consulting Group based in Chicago, leads the company for 30+ years. CSC is an experienced IT Service provider that specializes in working with schools, nonprofits, and small businesses to build and manage their IT environments. Ms. Crozier is part of the 1% of women in STEM in the US as a Latina Entrepreneur, and often referred to as a “unicorn” for her out of the box revenue growth successes.
Alejandra Tostado
Operations Coordinator @Chrysalis
Alejandra Tostado has over five years of nonprofit experience and joined Chrysalis in 2017 as an Employment Specialist in the San Fernando Valley location. She supported underrepresented communities with resources, job obtainment and career coaching. In 2018, Alejandra was promoted to Operations Coordinator and transferred to the Downtown Los Angeles office. Taking on the Operations Coordinator role, Ms. Tostado currently oversees six work crews that deploy from Caltrans yards and manages 60 transitional employees. She also develops training, supports outreach efforts and works very closely with multiple stakeholders to develop best practices for serving the re-entry community.
