ACS recognizes the vital role of patient navigation in decreasing inequities and supporting the achievement of positive health outcomes for individuals with cancer. Patient navigation is a disparities reducing strategy, rooted in health equity and responsiveness to the barriers impacting underrepresented individuals facing cancer. This webinar series will provide a foundation of understanding around the issue of health equity and how to elevate best practices in patient navigation programs to become more patient-centric, culturally sensitive, and focused on addressing the unique needs of the diverse community and individuals.
